2024 Senior World Cup Starts June: Features, Henry, Lampard, Owen, Carlos, Other Over 35-Year-Old Players
The 2024 Senior World Cup organized by the Elite Players Group (EPG) is set to be an exciting event that will bring together some of the most iconic footballers of yesteryears. The tournament will feature legendary players from eight powerhouse footballing nations, each captained by a respected retired player from their country.
In England’s squad, the likes of Ashley Cole, Frank Lampard, & Rio Ferdinand’ will be wearing the Three Lions once again, led by the experienced Steve McManaman. The presence of former Ballon d’Or winner Michael Owen adds to the star power of the team.
Argentina, under the captaincy of Esteban Cambiasso, will showcase the talents of Hernan Crespo & Pablo Zabaleta. Meanwhile, Brazil, led by Emerson, boasts the defensive skill of Cafu & Roberto Carlos, adding Samba flair to the tournament.
France’s squad, captained by the esteemed Christian Karembeu, will feature the dynamic duo of Thierry Henry & Marcel Desailly, promising a display of French finesse on the field. Germany, with Kevin Kuranyi, will look to Mesut Ozil & Sami Khedira to drive their midfield & create scoring opportunities.
Italy, captained by Marco Materazzi, with a solid defensive partnership with Fabio Cannavaro & the attacking ability of the evergreen Francesco Totti. Spain, under the leadership of Michel Salgado, will rely on the experience of Carles Puyol and’ the goal-scoring skills of David Villa.

The squads will compete in 11-a-side matches lasting 70 minutes, with substitutes allowed from the 18-man squads, ensuring a fast-paced & amazing competition.
The tournament schedule, starting with the quarter-finals on June 4 and’ 5, followed by the semi-finals on June 8 and’ the final on June 11, promises a week of intense football action.
