Egypt and Ghana, two prominent teams in Group B, ended their second matchday in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) with a 2-2 draw.

Egypt was compelled to make a late replacement during the latter part of the initial half due to the discomfort experienced by their key player, Mohamed Salah.

In the additional time of the first half, Ghana took the lead with a powerful strike from midfielder Mohammed Kudus.

In the 69th minute, Egypt managed to equalize through Omar Marmoush, but Kudus swiftly responded with a second goal for his team just two minutes later.

Showing great determination, Egypt’s Mostafa Mohamed once again levelled the score, and both teams held on until the final whistle without conceding defeat.
