The English Premier League will be thrilling next weekend, with Chelsea receiving five major boasts ahead of Arsenal clash.

Sportxparte reports that the Blues will be hosting Arsenal at the Stamford Bridge on Saturday, October 21, 2023.

Wesley Fofana’s recent Instagram post has encouraged the Blues’ fans, giving Chelsea’s defence a boost. Fans are eager to see the 22-year-old player play again after missing the entire preseason due to a knee injury.

This is Fofana’s second significant setback since joining Chelsea for £70 million last summer. But his most recent Instagram story, in which he touched a Chelsea flag and wrote “Soon” with a blue heart emoji, makes it seem like he might soon be making a comeback.

This is good news for Chelsea supporters, who have seen a number of defensemen miss time this season due to injuries, including Benoit Badiashile, Ben Chilwell, and Trevoh Chalobah.  Due to a thigh problem, Vice Captain Chalobah is anticipated to be sidelined until December. However, there is a chance that Fofana’s return will bolster the defence.

In addition to working hard to heal from his injury, Christopher Nkunku might be ready to play again by the end of the year.

Badiashile and Chalobah will probably be back in the Premier League when Chelsea plays Arsenal after the international break because they are getting closer to returning.

Following minor injuries, Cole Palmer and Mykhailo Mudryk are anticipated to play for Arsenal as well. Mudryk had a quad problem, and Palmer had a cramp.

Reece James, the captain, is preparing to come back after the international break. Due to injuries and a suspension, he hasn’t played much this season, but he should return soon.

Axel Disasi and Nicolas Jackson, among other players, are battling minor injuries, but they’re anticipated to make a full recovery.

Fans can anticipate seeing their favourite players back on the pitch as Chelsea’s defence is on the mend.
