Conor McGregor‘s much-anticipated return match has been called off because of an injury, just a fortnight before he was set to take on Michael Chandler in Las Vegas.

The 35-year-old Irish fighter, who competes in mixed martial arts, has been sidelined since his leg was fractured during a fight against Dustin Poirier in July 2021.

However, despite this setback, he was planned to headline UFC 303 on June 29.

Unfortunately, his fight has been cancelled due to an undisclosed issue.

“Conor McGregor is out of 303 versus Michael Chandler with an injury,” UFC chief executive Dana White announced in a video posted on X.
