Copa America: Argentina Starts Strong With Victory Over Canada

The 48th edition of the Copa América kicked off with a thrilling match as defending champions Argentina secured a 2-0 victory over tournament debutants Canada at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.

The game began with Argentina on the front foot, as Leandro Paredes and Ángel Di María tested Canada’s goalkeeper, Maxime Crépeau, early on.
