Kylian Mbappe got back into training with the French national team on Wednesday, just a few days after fracturing his nose in France’s opening game of the Euro 2024 tournament against Austria.

The 25-year-old forward was spotted wearing a protective bandage during the session.

At first, he was training by himself, but it’s unclear if he’ll be playing in France’s next game against the Netherlands in Leipzig on Friday.

The French Football Federation (FFF) promised to update the public on Mbappe’s condition later in the day on Wednesday.

After the collision, he was taken off the field and confirmed to have a fracture at a hospital in Dusseldorf before he got back with his team at the training camp.

To help him heal, the FFF decided to make a protective mask for Mbappe.

During the game against Austria, Mbappe was given a caution for going back onto the field and sitting down, which paused the game for a moment.

Kevin Danso, the 25-year-old defender from Austria, apologized on social media platform X after the match and wished Mbappe a speedy recovery.
