Ronaldo’s Impact

Cristiano Ronaldo is on track to score at least two more goals, aiming to become the oldest scorer in a European Championship, as Martinez mentioned on Friday that the 39-year-old is in excellent form to play every four days.

Sportxparte reports that it was Ronaldo who selflessly passed the ball to Fernandes for an easy goal in the 56th minute, and he even had time to take a selfie with a young fan who snuck onto the field during the second half.

Martinez’s team, with a perfect record of six points, will face one of the top four teams in the next round and enter their final group match with no pressure to win.

However, Turkey faces a challenge as they need a draw against the Czech Republic on Wednesday to secure second place.

The Turkish fans once again showed their support in large numbers at the Westfalenstadion, with long lines of cars on the roads leading to the stadium several hours before the 6:00 pm (1600 GMT) start.

Some fans even climbed onto cars, joining the thousands of supporters making their way to the venue, chanting and cheering.
