Everton’s 10-point Premier League Penalty Reduced To Six After Appeal
In a recent announcement, Everton’s points deduction for breaching the Premier League’s profitability and sustainability rules has been reduced from 10 points to six, following a successful appeal.

Everton expressed their satisfaction with the decision in a statement, saying, “While the club is still digesting the Appeal Board’s decision, we are satisfied our appeal has resulted in a reduction in the points sanction.”
The club also highlighted the importance of the Appeal Board’s recognition of their compliance with relevant regulations and principles, stating, “The club is also particularly pleased with the Appeal Board’s decision to overturn the original Commission’s finding that the club failed to act in utmost good faith.”
The revised points deduction will see Everton move up to 15th place in the Premier League table, providing a necessary boost to the team’s position and morale.
