A former manager for Barcelona FC, Xavier Hernández Creus, commonly known as Xavi, is said to be exploring the possibility of joining the English Premier League.
Recall that Xavi recently departed from the Catalan club.
Sportxparte reports that Xavi made his first public appearance on Saturday after being relieved of his duties last month.
According to the Spanish news outlet Sport, the Barcelona icon is now contemplating a managerial position in England, following in the footsteps of his former coach, Pep Guardiola, who currently manages the Premier League champions, Manchester City.
While Xavi intends to spend the next few months with his family, he is reportedly intrigued by the prospect of an “interesting” project in the Premier League.
However, it remains uncertain which specific clubs he has set his sights on.

Sportxparte reports that Xavi’s time at Barcelona as manager wasn’t all smooth sailing, despite delivering a La Liga title in his first season.
The weight of expectation at Barcelona is immense. Xavi is understood to have managed the pressure, even calling the job “cruel and unpleasant” at times.
This mental strain ultimately led to him offering to resign early in the year 2024.
Noticeably, there were inconsistent results. While they won La Liga, Barcelona weren’t dominant. They were knocked out of the Champions League group stage and the Europa League in the quarterfinals.
There were reports of frustration with some player performances.
