Juventus Announces The Signing Of Nico Gonzalez From Fiorentina

Juventus have officially announced the signing of Argentine winger, Nico Gonzalez on loan with a probable obligation to buy from Fiorentina.

The Bianconeri have agreed to pay a fee of €8m to sign Nico on loan for the season and will then pay a further fee of €25m, payable in three installments, plus ancillary fees of €3.1m, and bonuses that could rise to €5m.

Juventus announced in an official press release that the total cost finalize the deal will €33 million, not including the €8m loan fee.

Nico Gonzalez reached an agreement on personal terms earlier this month, reportedly amounting to around €3.5 million in annual wages.

He had four years left on his previous contract with Fiorentina which was set to expire in the summer of 2028.

“Welcome to Juventus, Nico, and see you soon on the pitch,” Juventus wrote in a statement on the club website.

Nico has finished as Fiorentina’s top goalscorer in Serie A for the past three seasons. He has also provided the second most assists of any Argentine player in the division in that same timeframe.

He was also part of the Argentina squad that was crowned Copa America champions earlier this summer.

He also played a key role in helping Fiorentina reach two consecutive Europa Conference League finals.

Juventus is expected to finalize a deal for Porto’s Francisco Conceicao in the next few days, with the Portugal national team talent scheduled to undergo his medical examination in Italy on Monday.
