Pierre Kalulu has completed his transfer from AC Milan to Juventus, on loan for €3.3m with an option to buy for a further €14m plus €3m in add-ons, after completing a medical.

As is often the case, Juve gave very precise details of the transfer fee.

The €3.3m for the one-season loan will be payable in two instalments and the option to buy is not mandatory.

That is worth €14m, payable over three installments, with add-ons of up to €3m.

Kalulu has left Milan to join Juventus. The versatile defender, who turned 24 in June, is capable of playing both as a center-back and as a right-back.

A product of the Olympique Lyonnais youth academy, he was sold to Milan for just €1.39 million in the summer of 2020.

During his time with the Rossoneri, he made 112 competitive appearances, scoring three goals and contributing assists.

For a defender, Kalulu only accumulated a surprising 12 yellow cards in those matches and was never sent off.

Ruled out for much of the 2023-24 season by a succession of injuries, he dropped down the pecking order and was not part of new coach Paulo Fonseca’s plans.

The Frenchman passed his medical in Turin and signed the contracts today.

He will wear the Number 15 jersey.
