Premier League giant, Manchester City has reportedly reached a loan deal with West Ham United for Kalvin Phillips.

Famous transfer expert Romano Fabrizio confirmed on Wednesday morning that the loan deal has been sealed on both sides and also on the player side.

The deal for Kalvin Phillips, he said, will also include an option to buy clause in June for West Ham.

Phillips is expected in London today to undergo medical tests as the new West Ham player.

“He’s expected to sign the contract and complete the move on Thursday,” Romano confirmed.

Sportxparte reports that Phillips was signed by Man City for £42 million from Leeds United in 2022, but he has struggled to make a significant impact under Pep Guardiola.

The English international has mostly found himself on the bench at the Etihad Stadium.

Recognizing that his chances of securing a place in the team for Euro 2024 are slim at Man City, the player understands that he must leave the club in order to gain more playing time.
