The club is looking to improve their attacking areas, as highlighted by The Independent: “The club’s hierarchy wants to specifically improve their attacking areas this summer, especially as Phil Foden moves into a more influential role and Kevin De Bruyne advances into his mid-thirties.”

On the other hand, PSG is also looking to reinforce their midfield, with Musiala being one of their targets. The Parisian club has been linked with other midfielders like Bruno Guimarães from Newcastle United and Joshua Kimmich from Bayern Munich. However, their priorities seem to lie in other areas, as mentioned by The Independent: “There are other priorities at the Parc des Princes with the center-back position, as well as potentially a center-forward, thought to be Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, being targeted.”
