Mourinho Alleges Diving: Pedro Faces Criticism After Roma’s Derby Draw with Lazio

In the aftermath of Sunday’s Rome derby, Roma’s manager, Jose Mourinho, criticised former Chelsea player Pedro, now with Lazio, for accusing him of diving.

The Stadio Olimpico witnessed a goalless draw and a heated atmosphere, resulting in eight yellow cards and numerous confrontations between the teams.

Mourinho, who previously coached Pedro at Stamford Bridge, expressed his displeasure with the Spanish winger’s actions.

The draw places both Roma and Lazio behind in Serie A standings after 12 matches. Roma holds the seventh spot with 18 points, while Lazio sits in tenth with 17 points.

Despite the contentious match, there appeared to be a slight thaw in the verbal exchanges between Mourinho and his Lazio counterpart, Maurizio Sarri. Sarri mentioned his preference for dealing with Mourinho as a person rather than the media persona.
