The Super Eagles of Nigeria will lock horns with the Bafana Bafana of South Africa today in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) semi-final.

The goalkeepers for both sides are Stanley Nwabali (Nigeria) and Rowen Williams (South Africa).

Nigeria is hoping to return home with its fourth AFCON title, while South Africa, who has won the title only once, is hopeful of adding to the numbers.

Today’s semi-final clash will, however, determine who will progress to the final stage of the tournament ni Cote d’Ivoire.

Both Nwabali and Williams have proven their prowess in their previous matches and their stats can be described as incredible. Nwabali has only conceded one out of five matches the Super Eagles have played in the 2023 AFCON.

Williams, on the other hand, has conceded two matches.

Both players have maintained four clean sheets, but Williams has saved South Africa from an early exit after saving four penalty kicks in their quarter-final match against Cape Verde.
