Super Falcons star, Asisat Oshoala has received a warm farewell ceremony from Bay FC, a National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) club, as she gets ready to represent Nigeria in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

SportXparte reports that Oshoala, who transferred from FC Barcelona to the American women’s football club earlier this year, is among the 18 players selected by coach Randy Waldrum for the Olympics scheduled from July 26 to August 11.

During the send-off event organized by Bay FC to honour their players participating in the Paris Olympics, Oshoala was presented with a bouquet and draped in a Nigerian flag.

The 29-year-old player was photographed standing behind a large poster displaying the club’s name, alongside other Bay FC footballers set to represent their countries at the tournament.
