The contest took place as a behind-closed-doors friendly, with the Reds readying for the upcoming season.

This was Slot’s first chance to observe his entire squad in action, with Mo Salah earning his first minutes on the field.

In total, 25 players were utilized by Liverpool, with notable starts for Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai, Harvey Elliott, Curtis Jones, Jarell Quansah, Kostas Tsimikas, and Conor Bradley.
