Sevilla Advancing To Sign Hannibal As His Current Contract Expires In 2025 From Man United
The possibility of Sevilla acquiring Hannibal on a season-long loan from Manchester United is getting closer.
Because the Red Devils will now play fewer games after being eliminated from Europe, Manchester United will be aiming to reduce the playing roster between now and the end of the month.
In comparison to his predecessor, Erik ten Hag has a slightly different approach with younger players. It’s evident from the gaffer that they won’t be given opportunities; instead, they will have to work for them.
Hannibal hasn’t been in the starting lineup for a while. Now, the individual who currently represents Tunisia in international football will have to move, even if only temporarily.
Sevilla, a European club, is reportedly “advancing towards an agreement” to sign the United teenager on loan, according to a post by the Athletic that Sportsxparte has obtained. Though the players and the club think a move to the Spanish team is the better choice, Everton appears to be equally enthusiastic.
The transfer window would open with Sevilla having the option to buy Hannibal permanently, meaning United would profit handsomely from the sixteen-year-old they signed a few years ago. It could be best to do this, as his current contract expires in 2025. United will be able to exercise its buyback option.
Before approving the loan, United might hold Hannibal until after this weekend’s Spurs encounter because they anticipate having players return in time for their next league fixture, which is a week later.
Hannibal is a gifted player, but if he had a real chance of succeeding at Old Trafford, I can’t help but believe that he would already be starting matches frequently.
