English Premier League top leader, Liverpool, is reportedly interested in signing Fulham defender, Tosin Adarabioyo, during the upcoming summer transfer window.

In a report on Wednesday, MIRROR observed that the 26-year-old centre-half caught Liverpool’s attention during their Carabao Cup semi-final match at Craven Cottage last week.

SportXparte understands that Adarabioyo’s contract with Fulham expires in the summer, which has already attracted interest from AC Milan and other overseas clubs.

Liverpool, who are looking to strengthen their defensive options, were also interested in the 6ft 5in defender last summer when he was on Tottenham’s radar.

Despite Jurgen Klopp’s departure, a free transfer to replace players like Joel Matip is likely to be appealing. Fulham is willing to wait and see what unfolds, but Adarabioyo will have several options as a free agent.

As for Liverpool, they have allowed centre-back Nat Phillips to join Cardiff City on loan for the rest of the season, following his loan spell at Celtic in the first half of the campaign.

Phillips has featured in 29 matches for the Reds, with 20 of those appearances occurring during the 2020-21 season, which saw unfortunate injuries to Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, and Matip.

However, in the previous season, he only played five times, and in the first half of this campaign, he made eight appearances for Celtic.
