Transfer: Super Falcons Star, Oshoala Sets To Join Bay FC
Nigerian professional footballer, Asisat Oshoala, is set to complete a transfer to Bay FC in the United States National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) this week.
SportXparte understands that Oshoala’s current contract with Barcelona Femeni, the Spanish Iberdrola side, is set to expire this summer.
Bay FC, a club located in the San Francisco Bay Area of California, is reportedly willing to pay €150,000 to secure the services of the 29-year-old forward for the Super Falcons of Nigeria.
Oshoala, now 29 years old, joined Barcelona in 2019 after playing for Chinese club Dalian Quanjian.
During her time with the Blaugrana, she won the UEFA Women’s Champions League title twice. Additionally, she has previously played for Arsenal and Liverpool Ladies.
