Wrexham Football Club’s financial landscape has undergone significant transformation since Hollywood owners Rob McElhenney & Ryan Reynolds took control in February 2021.

In the 2022-23 season, Wrexham faced a financial loss of £5.1 million despite a doubling of turnover, reaching almost £10.5 million. This loss, attributed to increased operational costs & a rise in the wage bill, emphasizes the club’s commitment to maximizing its potential under new ownership.

The club’s owners, McElhenney & Reynolds, have injected substantial funds into Wrexham, with the club now owing nearly £9 million to The RR McReynolds Company, LLC. However, the club remains optimistic about its financial future, stating the income generated is sufficient to meet operational costs and support ongoing projects.
