There’s some exciting buzz in the air about Zinedine Zidane’s potential comeback to coaching. According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, the former Real Madrid manager is eyeing a return to the coaching scene for the 2024/25 season. And guess what? He’s not ruling out the chance of rejoining Real Madrid.

Zidane seems pretty eager to get back into the coaching game after nearly three years since his last departure from Real Madrid.

Even though he’s been away, he’s been keeping busy with other professional activities. In 2022, there were talks about him joining Paris Saint-Germain, and there was even speculation about the French national team, but things didn’t pan out.

He’s had his sights set on coaching his national team, among other top European clubs, and the idea of returning to Marseille. Right now, he’s put those options on hold, gearing up to jump back into coaching in the 2024-2025 season, aiming for one of the big European clubs.

Real Madrid, where he had a stunning run with 11 trophies, including three back-to-back UEFA Champions League titles, is one of the possibilities! But here’s the kicker: it all depends on what Carlo Ancelotti decides.

While there are whispers about Zidane being courted by the Brazilian association, he’s denied any links with the South American team. So, for now, it’s a waiting game to see where Zizou lands next!
