Al Hilal Are Champions Of Saudi Arabia Pro League

Undefeated Al Hilal, secured their 19th Saudi Pro League title with a 4-1 win against Al Hazem on Saturday, reclaiming the trophy from last season’s champions, Al Ittihad.

Jorge Jesus’s side hold a 12-point advantage over Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr in second with three matches remaining.

After 15 minutes, Aleksandar Mitrovic scored from a penalty to give Al Hilal the lead, but FaΓ―z Selemani equalized for Al Hazem in the 34th minute. Nevertheless, Jesus’s team regained the lead with an own goal by Ahmed Al-Juwaid in the 39th minute.

Mitrovic found the net once more in first-half injury time, followed by a goal from Sergej Milinkovic-Savic three minutes later, extending the lead to 4-1.

Al Hilal is in pursuit of a treble after securing the Saudi Super Cup title in April and advancing to the final of the Saudi King’s Cup, where they are set to face Al Nassr.
