AC Milan Completes Loan Deal Of Victor Boniface From Bayer Leverkusen

‎Several outlets report that Milan has reached a full agreement with Bayer Leverkusen for Nigerian international Victor Boniface.

‎The striker is expected to join the Rossoneri on loan with an option to buy.

‎According to Fabrizio Romano, Matteo Moretto, and Florian Plettenberg, Milan has secured an agreement to sign Boniface on a season-long loan.

‎The club also has a deal in place for a four-year contract with the 24-year-old starting next season.

‎The Rossoneri have been actively searching for a new centre-forward over the last few weeks given that Santiago Gimenez is currently the only senior striker in Massimiliano Allegri’s squad.

‎Rafael Leao, who started as a centre-forward in Milan’s first competitive game of the 2025-26 season, picked up a minor injury. His setback has only heightened the club’s urgency to bring in a new striker at San Siro.

‎Milan had explored potential moves for Manchester United’s Rasmus Højlund and Juventus’s Dušan Vlahović.

‎However, despite weeks of negotiations, no full agreement was reached with either club.

‎When Boniface’s move is completed, he will become Milan’s eighth signing of the summer window.

‎He follows the arrivals of Luka Modrić, Ardon Jashari, Samuele Ricci, Koni De Winter, Pervis Estupiñán, Zachary Athekame, and Pietro Terracciano.
