According to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), there is a possibility that Stanley Nwabali will be fit for Nigeria’s quarter-final match against Angola.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are scheduled for a quarter-final clash against the Palancas Negras of Angola in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Cote d’Ivoire.

Nwabali had sustained a minor ligament injury during the Super Eagles’ clash with Cameroon on Saturday.

To determine his fitness level for the upcoming game against Angola, the 27-year-old will undergo another test on Wednesday, the NFF revealed.

“The doctors have been working on him to see if he will come good in a late fitness test 48 hours before the cracker with the southern Africans,” the NFF statement reads.
