Brighton’s Fabian Hurzeler Dismisses Fears Over Manchester United Move For Baleba
Brighton & Hove Albion manager, Fabian Hurzeler, insists he’s not concerned about potentially losing Carlos Baleba this transfer window, even with heavy links to Manchester United.
With major additions such as Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha, and Bryan Mbeumo already on board, Ruben Amorim is now looking to reinforce his midfield further.
On the BBC’s Monday Night Club podcast, the Seagulls boss was asked if he feared losing key players.
He replied, “No chance. I don’t feel fear. I’m not afraid of anything because all we can do is be the best version of ourselves every day and work as hard as we can.
”All the other things we can’t influence, so we really have to focus on us. For sure, we can’t spend the money like the big teams but one of our biggest values is togetherness.
”And if you stay together, if we try to push our limits and increase the boundaries, then I’m sure we can compete with the big teams.”
Brighton kick off their Premier League campaign on Saturday, August 16, with a visit from Fulham.
