Fabio Paratici Returns To Tottenham As Sporting Director After FIFA Ban

‎Fabio Paratici has rejoined Tottenham Hotspur as sporting director after completing a 30-month ban from football.

‎The Italian stepped down as Spurs’ managing director of football in April 2023.

‎His resignation came after Italy’s top sports body rejected his appeal against the ban related to transfer and financial dealings during his time at Juventus.

‎Paratici had appealed the FIFA-extended ban originally imposed by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) but was ultimately required to serve it.

‎Both he and Juventus consistently denied any wrongdoing. Tottenham revealed that Paratici has been consulting for the club for several months.

‎He will now work alongside Johan Lange, who has also been promoted to the role of sporting director.

‎”I’m delighted to be returning to a club that I love… I now look forward to returning to London and joining the team full-time,” Paratici said in a statement.

‎”I’m convinced that working in partnership with Johan we can build a special future for the club and our supporters.”

‎Spurs are also seeking a director of football operations to assist Paratici and Lange.
