Kevin Durant Set To Become A Minority Shareholder At PSG
As reported by French sports journalist, Romain Molina, and transfer market Italian reporter, Fabrizio Romano, Kevin Durant is set to become a minority stakeholder of Paris Saint-Germain, the biggest football club in France and one of the favorites to win the UEFA Champions League every season.
Durant made his fortune in the NBA, where he gained widespread recognition as one of the league’s top players.
In 2016, he moved from the Oklahoma City Thunder to the Golden State, teaming up with Steph Curry and Klay to form a powerhouse. This collaboration led to two NBA championships in 2017 and 2018.
More recently he was part of the US team that won the gold medal at the Paris Olympics.
Kevin Durant in Paris Olympic
Kevin Durant left Paris with tons of great memories. Starting his fourth straight Olympic Games participation with an almost perfect 23-point shooting night (8/9 FG), he went all the way to contribute to Team USA’s fifth consecutive gold, winning once again.
In the city where he became the male basketball player with the most gold medals won throughout his career (2008, 2012, 2016, 2020, and 2024), he also likely shook hands for a new investment outside of basketball.

In 2016, Durant co-founded Thirty-Five Ventures with his longtime manager, Rich Kleiman. The firm has since built a diverse investment portfolio that spans technology, sports, and entertainment, as well as artificial intelligence, health, and fitness.
He will join LeBron James as another current NBA player who owns part of a Champions League football club. The Chosen One has been investing in English powerhouse Liverpool for years now.
