Kogi Govt Host Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Olorunleke

The goalkeeper for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Ojo Olorunleke, was received by the Kogi State Government on Friday, February 16, 2024.

SportXparte reports that Olorunleke arrived in Lokoja, the state capital, earlier today and was given a warm welcome by the State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Honorable Wemi Jones.

During their meeting, the Enyimba shot stopper expressed his purpose for the visit, which was to show his support and connection to his home state.

He also shared his plans to organize a football tournament later in the year, with the aim of giving back to society and discovering talented footballers, just like himself.

Jones, who was delighted to have Olorunleke, his family, and friends as guests, acknowledged the goalkeeper’s achievements with the Super Eagles. He saw it as a motivation for the government to further invest in school sports.
