La Liga Announces New Date For Postponed Barcelona Vs. Osasuna Clash

Barcelona’s La Liga match against Osasuna was postponed earlier this month due to the passing of the club’s doctor, Carles Minarro Garcia.

The Spanish Federation (RFEF) stated that the game has been rescheduled for March 27th.

Both teams had announced the line-up on March 8th, and the players went to warm up before hosts Barcelona declared that the game was postponed through the stadium speakers.

Osasuna is set to visit Athletic Bilbao on March 28th, just one day after their rescheduled match. Meanwhile, league leaders Barcelona will host Girona on March 30th.

Spanish media reports indicate that Barcelona is considering appealing the RFEF’s decision.

The appeal is due to Raphinha and Ronald Araujo, who are expected to play for Brazil and Uruguay in the World Cup qualifiers on March 21st and 25th, being unavailable for the match on March 27th.
