Man United To Sign 25-year-old Midfielder As Sancho Opens Talks With PSG

Manchester United’s esteemed manager, Erik ten Hag, is reportedly showing a keen interest in acquiring AS Monaco midfielder, Youssouf Fofana, during the summer transfer window.

As per a report from the UK Sun, Manchester United is in pursuit of Fofana’s transfer to Old Trafford with the aim of strengthening Ten Hag’s team.

The 25-year-old Frenchman is currently engaged in negotiations with Serie A club AC Milan.

However, as previously mentioned in the aforementioned publication, Manchester United is poised to seize the opportunity to secure Fofana’s transfer.

This would mark Manchester United’s second attempt to secure a player from Milan this summer, following their successful acquisition of forward Joshua Zirkzee from the same club earlier this month.

Sancho In Talks With PSG

Meanwhile, Jadon Sancho has reportedly engaged in discussions with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) regarding a potential transfer, as his future at Manchester United remains uncertain.

Following his reconciliation with Erik ten Hag, Sancho made his debut for Manchester United in a shirt bearing the club’s colours nearly a year later, during their 2-0 friendly victory over Rangers.

He was positioned on the left side of United’s front line, alongside Amad and Joe Hugill, who scored the goals.

Despite his inclusion in Manchester United’s pre-season schedule for the upcoming Premier League season, there remains speculation regarding his future at Old Trafford, as he continues to attract interest from other clubs.

Additionally, Foot Mercato has reported that Paris Saint-Germain is in the process of finalizing a contract agreement with Sancho.

Following the departure of Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid on a free transfer, Paris Saint-Germain is in search of a new player to fill the void.

They are reportedly considering Sancho among the top candidates to bolster their front line.

In other news, French media outlet L’Equipe has reported that Paris Saint-Germain is still in negotiations with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli, while the club is also in discussions with other potential players to secure a winger.

It is mentioned that both parties have engaged in several days of negotiations, but a formal contract agreement has yet to be signed.

Nonetheless, it is believed that Sancho has given his approval to the idea of playing in France.

Barcelona and Juventus have also been identified as clubs of interest in Sancho, closely monitoring his situation.
