Manchester City Boost As Guardiola Confirms Injured Stars Return For Tottenham Clash

‎Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, received a timely boost ahead of Saturday’s meeting with Tottenham Hotspur as Rodri and Phil Foden were included in the matchday squad.

‎City swept to a 4-0 victory at Wolves on opening day, moving top on goal difference with Sunderland close behind.

‎”Last season (4-0 defeat) came after an international break and a poor run of results, and the dynamic wasn’t good, but it is a new season with new vibes, and the game will hopefully be like the first 15-20 minutes of the game last season.”

‎City’s maestro returns this weekend, a potential concern for Tottenham, as Rodri is often the glue in Guardiola’s midfield.

‎The Spaniard has earned high praise from Guardiola and will be eased back into the team.
