Manchester City Prepares Big Offer For Palmeiras Youngster

Manchester City is set to offer 40 million euros for Palmeiras center-back Vitor Reis.

The talented defender, who is about to turn 19, is under contract with Verdão until the end of 2028.

The information about City’s interest in Vitor Reis came from UOL. The youngster already has a verbal agreement with the English club, according to the site.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Manchester City officials are currently in Brazil to officially present their proposal during a meeting with Palmeiras.

Manchester City is in a hurry to strengthen their defense and wants Vitor Reis in January. The center-back has been with Palmeiras since 2016 when he was picked up at the age of 10.

Vitor Reis made his debut for the Verdão first team in mid-2024 and quickly became a key player. Last season, the young defender made 22 appearances, starting in 20 of those matches, and scored two goals.

The defender also has a distinguished career with the Brazilian U-17 national team. Reis captained the team at the last FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2023.
