Manchester United Has Decided To Sack Erik Ten Hag

Manchester United have reportedly made a decision on Erik ten Hag’s future as manager, just before their FA Cup showdown with local rivals Manchester City.

The club had a disappointing season under Ten Hag, finishing in eighth place in the Premier League with just 60 points, only two points more than their previous record low set in the 2021-2022 season.

Manchester United’s only hope of qualifying for European football next season is by winning the FA Cup against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City at Wembley.

Although Ten Hag still has a chance to claim silverware, reports from Italian source Di Marzio suggest that the decision to dismiss the Dutch manager has already been finalized.

The report reads: “Manchester United is looking for the successor of Ten Hag, at the end of the season, United says goodbye to Ten Hag. But what is certain they say goodbye to Ten Hag.”

The report suggests that Kieran McKenna, Mauricio Pochettino, and Roberto De Zerbi are the top contenders to replace Ten Hag at Old Trafford.

Rumors of a managerial change at Manchester United have been circulating since Sir Jim Ratcliffe assumed control of the club, with the British billionaire eager to initiate a rebuilding process from the grassroots level at his new club.
