‎Last week, Wissa posted a statement on social media urging Brentford to allow his transfer to Newcastle. He still has two years left on his Brentford contract and is expected to undergo a medical at Newcastle later on Monday before finalising the move.

‎His arrival should boost manager Eddie Howe, whose side has drawn blanks in two of their opening three matches.
