Real Madrid Hit By Injury Blow As Vinicius And Vazquez Ruled Out

‎Real Madrid forward, Vinicius Jr. and defender Lucas Vazquez may be sidelined for a period during the title run-in after suffering injuries in Sunday’s 4-3 defeat to Barcelona, according to the club’s statement.

‎Vinicius, who has scored 11 goals and provided seven assists this season, has a left ankle sprain, while Vazquez suffers from a thigh muscle injury, Real Madrid announced on Monday.

‎The injuries following Sunday’s 4-3 defeat to Barcelona threaten their chances in the title race. With only three matches remaining, Real Madrid now sit seven points behind the leaders.

‎The club did not provide a timeline for the players’ return.

‎Real Madrid is already missing several key first-team players due to injury, including Daniel Carvajal, Eder Militao, Eduardo Camavinga, Antonio Rudiger, Ferland Mendy, and David Alaba.
