Sergino Dest Bids Farewell To Barcelona

Barcelona’s right-back, Sergino Dest, has announced his departure from the Catalonians.

Sportxparte reports that the United States international revealed this in a farewell on social media, where he expressed his gratitude to the fans who welcomed him to the club in October 2020.

It is worth noting that Dest has been on loan away from Barcelona in the last two seasons.

During his time with the multi-time La Liga and European champions, Dest scored three goals and provided four assists in 72 games across various competitions.

While on loan to AC Milan, Dest played 14 games across different competitions without scoring a goal.

Dest contributed with two goals and seven assists in 37 games across competitions in the previous season while on loan to PSV Eindhoven.

He has now completed his transfer to the reigning Eredivisie champions and reflected on his memorable time at Camp Nou.

“A fantastic club with such an excellent history! I would have liked to see it differently, but sometimes, things are out of your control.

“I had a great time, especially the first two years, and thank everyone who supported me. Gracias por todo (Thanks, everyone),” Dest wrote on social media.
