Transfer: Aston Villa Bids For Fiorentina’s Kayode As Adeleke Dumps Sporting Lagos For Israeli Club
Aston Villa have reportedly made their initial bid for Michael Kayode.
A popular Italian specialist in transfers, Alfredo Pedulla, revealed on Monday that the Premier League club had proposed a deal to Fiorentina valued at approximately €15 million, with additional benefits.
However, Fiorentina are asking for a price of around €20 million, along with extra benefits to sell Kayode.
It is anticipated that Villa will propose a revised offer in the coming days.
Kayode made a strong impression in his first season with Fiorentina.
He contributed one goal and four assists in 37 games for the Viola during the 2023/24 season.
Meanwhile, Kunle Adeleke, a defender for Sporting Lagos, has signed with Israeli club, Maccabi Jaffa FC.
Adeleke will be on a one-year deal with the possibility of an additional two-year extension.
He finalized the deal after completing his medical examinations.
Adeleke came to Maccabi Jaffa FC after wrapping up his time with the Nigeria U-23 team.
During his stint with Sporting Lagos, Adeleke appeared in 19 league matches.
He moved to Sporting Lagos from his previous club, Rivers United, who were the champions of the league.
