Arsenal Suffers Setback With Ødegaard Injury Against Nottingham Forest
Arsenal lost captain Martin Ødegaard to injury early against Nottingham Forest, as he appeared to suffer another shoulder issue.
Ødegaard had previously been forced off against Leeds United in August with a shoulder problem. Before the international break, he had recovered enough to come on as a substitute at Liverpool.
However, just a few minutes into the game at home against Forest on Saturday he fell and landed awkwardly and was getting treatment as he was holding his right shoulder.
Odegaard attempted to push through but couldn’t carry on and was substituted off shortly afterward.
Youngster Ethan Nwaneri came on to replace Odegaard, as Mikel Arteta made the change, and Arsenal fans will be hoping Odegaard’s shoulder issue isn’t serious.
