Ballon d’Or 2025: Rising Star Lamine Yamal Joins Dembele Among Top Nominees

‎The nominees for the 2025 Ballon d’Or have been revealed, alongside the shortlists for the Yashin Trophy (best goalkeeper), the Kopa Trophy (best young player), and the awards for top coaches and women’s football.

‎The prestigious Ballon d’Or is regarded as the ultimate award for the world’s best men’s player.

‎It, along with the related awards, is decided by an international panel of journalists, one from each country, based on the top 100 nations in the latest FIFA Men’s World Ranking.

‎The eligibility period for these awards runs from August 1st, 2024, to July 31st, 2025, with the winners announced at the ceremony on September 22nd.
