Erling Haaland’s New Contract: Salary, Duration, And Release Clause Details Revealed

Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland has signed a huge new deal with the club, tying his future to the Etihad Stadium until the summer of 2034.

The Norwegian player joined Manchester City in 2022 and has secured every possible title during his tenure, including consecutive Premier League championships.

Although it seems that City’s hold on the title is weakening this season, the agreement to extend Haaland’s contract signals a strong commitment for the future.

The Athletic reports that the new deal is a nine-and-a-half-year extension that includes a salary increase, making it one of “the most lucrative sporting contracts ever”.

The exact figures have not yet been released, but it’s fair to assume that it’s a significant bump in earnings from the deal first signed in 2022.
