Everton Reaches Agreement To Sign Jack Grealish On Loan From Manchester City
Everton has reached an agreement to take Jack Grealish on a season-long loan from Manchester City, with Grealish spending the 2025/26 campaign at the Hill Dickinson Stadium after both clubs settled on the arrangement.
Grealish has given his approval to the move and Fabrizio Romano is reporting that the winger is set to undergo a medical with Everton on Monday.
The 29-year-old’s arrival will be a huge boost for Everton, who have made progress after a frustrating start to the summer transfer window.
Grealish has been exploring his options after being left out of the Manchester City squad for this summer’s Club World Cup.
He started just seven times in the Premier League last season and is keen to secure regular first-team football to boost his chances of making England’s World Cup squad. The move to Everton will also mean Grealish does not have to relocate from the North West.
Grealish is poised to become Everton’s sixth summer signing and should bolster the creative options in David Moyes’s squad.
The Toffees will cover most of his salary during the loan, and there’s no expected buy option attached to the deal.
Everton is enjoying a lively transfer window so far, having brought in Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Thierno Barry, Adam Aznou, Carlos Alcaraz, and Mark Travers. With a relatively small squad still, Moyes’s side isn’t finished in the market.
He is poised to finalise the transfer in the coming days and could make his debut for Everton in the Premier League opener at Leeds United on August 18.
