It’s A Privilege For Me To Be Compared To Jude Bellingham – Says Kaka
Former Brazilian professional footballer, Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite, popularly known as Kaka, has expressed his gratitude for being likened to Jude Bellingham, stating that it is an honour for him.
Sportxparte reports that Bellingham, who is 20 years old, moved to Real Madrid last year and has quickly become one of the standout players at the Bernabeu.
His exceptional performance has greatly contributed to the success of the La Liga champions, as he concluded his first season as a champion in both the league and Europe.
During the Champions League final last weekend, the English international assisted Vinicius Jr in scoring the second goal against Borussia Dortmund.
Bellingham is being considered a strong contender for the Ballon d’Or and has been compared to Kaka.
In his remark about the English player, Kaka said: “For me, it’s a privilege of course because Jude is doing really, really great. Even if I don’t like comparisons much, because I think everyone is different, everyone has their own background and history, but to be compared to Jude it’s a privilege.”
“He’s amazing, what he’s doing not just now but also what he did with Dortmund and what he’s done with the national team. He’s building his career, it’s really, really good,” Kaka told 90mins.
Jude Bellingham’s transfer to Real Madrid has been a success so far, with many reports indicating he’s taking the team by storm.
Despite being new to the team, Bellingham’s versatility allows him to adapt to different situations.
He can play as a box-to-box midfielder, contribute in attack with his passing and runs, and chip in defensively with tackles and headers.
While specific stats aren’t available yet (it’s still early in the season), reports mention impressive numbers in goals, assists, and chance creation.
Bellingham even contributed to Real Madrid’s recent Champions League victory, assisting Vinicius Jr. on the winning goal.
