Lens Defender Khusanov Agrees Personal Terms With Manchester City
Uzbekistan’s central defender, Abdukodir Khusanov, is attracting interest from Manchester City, and recent reports suggest that his transfer to the club will yield a substantial sum for Lens.
Acquired for €100,000 in Belarus a year and a half ago, Khusanov’s market value has soared to €12 million, according to Transfermarkt. At just 20 years old, he has significantly developed during his time at Lens, and a potential sale could fetch the club as much as €30 million.
Now, with Manchester City a potential buyer, the windfall is even greater. According to Foot Mercato this Friday, the two clubs have reached an agreement worth €50 million to complete the transfer of Khusanov.
This significant amount could deter competition, especially with Tottenham and Newcastle showing interest at the beginning of the winter transfer window.
At the same time, the parties have already agreed on personal terms, while Khusanov is pushing for the transfer to happen.

Sportxparte can also confirm the Sky Blues’ interest in the Lens player. According to their information, the English club is in contact with the et Or incent hours.
The Citizens have made an offer of €40 million plus €10 million in bonuses. The bonuses will be activated if City qualifies for the Champions League and the player participates in 65% of their matches in the tournament.
According to our sources, this proposal will be accepted by the Lens management in the next few hours.
Khusanov has turned a corner with Lens this season. Will Still has made him one of his mainstays, and the player has been there from the start, driving up his market value.
Although Manchester City were the quickest off the mark, other major European clubs, such as Real Madrid, had already spotted him.
There is no doubt that the centre-back will be interesting to watch in the Premier League with Pep Guardiola as coach.
