Leverkusen Defeats Wolfsburg, Eyes Bundesliga Title
Leverkusen showcased their dominance by’ defeating Wolfsburg 2-0 at the BayArena, ending a winless streak of seven games at home against their opponents.
This victory solidified their position at the top of the Bundesliga table & also marked a significant milestone in the club’s history.
The match started with Leverkusen displaying their intent early on, as Florian Wirtz’s near-miss off the woodwork set the tone for what was to come. The momentum shifted further in Leverkusen’s favour when Moritz Jenz was shown a red card, reducing Wolfsburg to ten men and_ giving the hosts a crucial advantage.
