PFA Awards 2025: Mohamed Salah Makes History – See All The Winners

‎Mohamed Salah has become the first player to claim the PFA Players’ Player of the Year award for a third time, as he helped Liverpool clinch the Premier League title.

‎The Egyptian forward scored 29 goals and laid on 18 assists, helping Liverpool seal a record-equalling 20th English top-flight crown with four matches to play last season.

‎Salah previously won the award in the 2017/18 and 2021/22 campaigns.

‎The 33-year-old picked up the Football Writers’ Association and Premier League Player of the Year awards in recent months.

‎Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers claimed the Young Player of the Year prize after a breakout season that included his first senior England cap.

PFA Squad list

‎Salah is also included in the 2024/25 PFA Premier League Team of the Year alongside Liverpool teammates Virgil van Dijk, Ryan Gravenberch, and Alexis Mac Allister.

‎Milos Kerkez, who moved to Anfield from Bournemouth in June, is also selected, as are the Arsenal trio of William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, and Declan Rice.

‎Matz Sels and Chris Wood have been honoured for their impressive seasons at Nottingham Forest.

‎Newcastle’s wantaway striker, Alexander Isak, also earned recognition after finishing second to Mohamed Salah in the Golden Boot race.

Woman PFA awards

‎On the women’s side, Arsenal star Mariona Caldentey claimed the Player of the Year award following her key role in the Gunners’ Champions League triumph.

‎The Spanish midfielder scored 19 goals in all competitions, including eight in the Champions League, in her first season in England.

Olivia Smith joined Caldentey at Arsenal in a world-record £1 million ($1.4 million) transfer and captured the Women’s Young Player of the Year award after a superb season with Liverpool.
