A suspected drink-driver collided with one of Marcus Rashford’s cars, leaving his Man United teammate requiring medical attention.

Sportxparte reports that the England star player, Rashford, was in the vehicle behind his own Range Rover when a black Mercedes struck it.

The Range Rover’s driver, 25, along with his teammate Tyrell Malacia, a United defender, were advised to seek medical care.

The incident led to police being called in Wilmslow, Cheshire, where the Mercedes driver, 55, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

She was subsequently checked at Macclesfield Hospital. Doctors determined that Dutch ace Malacia, 24, and his passenger were uninjured.

However, both players were back at training the following day.

Cheshire Police confirmed that they were called to the scene of a collision between a blue Range Rover Sport and a black Mercedes C220 AMG Sport on July 16.

They reported that a woman was taken to the scene, and two men were hospitalized.

This incident occurred just two days before Rashford was issued a six-month driving ban for exceeding the speed limit in his Rolls-Royce on the M60 in December 2023.

On Wednesday, Rashford and the United team flew to Los Angeles for a pre-season tour.

Malacia, who missed the previous season due to injury, remained in Manchester to focus on his fitness.
