Theo Hernandez Joins Al Hilal From AC Milan On A Permanent Transfer Deal

‎Theo Hernandez has officially transferred from AC Milan to Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal, as both teams announced on Thursday.

‎It was previously reported that he would undergo a medical in Paris on Wednesday, followed by signing his contract and finalizing the deal.

‎This has now been completed, with Milan expected to receive approximately €25 million from the sale of the French defender.

‎The 27-year-old French defender joins Al Hilal on a three-year deal, ending a six-season spell at the San Siro after arriving from Real Madrid in 2019.

‎Theo Hernandez joined AC Milan from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window of 2019. Since then, he has made 262 appearances across all competitions, scoring 34 goals and providing 45 assists.

‎He played a vital role in Milan’s Scudetto-winning team in the 2021-22 season under coach Stefano Pioli, and the following season, he helped the club reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.

‎Theo will be remembered for his lung-busting runs down the left flank and the relationship he had with Rafael Leao, who bid him an emotional farewell on social media earlier this week.

‎The move was expected after Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri announced on Monday that Hernandez would not be part of the squad next season.

‎He is set to join a new club under the management of former Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi. Inzaghi took over the club in early June.
