Transfer Window: Updates On Kylian Mbappe’s Real Madrid Deal
The previous few days have seen a whirlwind of rumors swirl around Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Kylian Mbappe, with all possible scenarios being floated at one point or another.
However, the prevailing narrative emerging from Madrid claims that Los Blancos have not extended any offer to the French striker.
This is the case, but unlike other media, it isn’t because they don’t want to sign Mbappe. Real Madrid does want to sign Mbappe, but they will make backup plans and not spend their whole money on him.
Considering all of that, Los Blancos also wish to establish the parameters of the discussion. Compared to 2022, Florentino Perez plans to make Mbappe a lower offer. Jude Bellingham’s meteoric rise and Endrick’s upcoming arrival have reduced the necessity for Mbappe’s star power signing, Sportxparte understands.
They want to make it very clear to Mbappe that they are not frantic to sign him this time around and that he needs to back up his words if he wants to join Real Madrid.
There were rumors circulating from Mbappe’s camp that he has not yet struck a deal with any clubs and that he won’t feel compelled to make a decision right away.
All three parties agree that it would be ideal to complete the agreement before the January transfer window closes, but because there hasn’t been any movement on the matter and we’re now over one-third of the way through, it’s possible that the drama may drag on past that deadline.
