Barcelona’s Raphinha Secures La Liga Player Of The Season Title

‎Barcelona winger, Raphinha, was honored as La Liga Player of the Season on Friday, following his significant contribution to the club’s domestic treble victory.

‎Additionally, his teammate Lamine Yamal was recognized as the Best Under-23 player.

‎Raphinha scored 34 goals and provided 25 assists in 57 appearances across all competitions. His performances helped Barcelona win the league title, the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup.

‎The 28-year-old joined Barcelona from Leeds United in 2022. He recently signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2028.

‎Raphinha scored a late goal to put Barcelona ahead in the Champions League semi-final second leg against Inter Milan.

‎However, the Italians equalized in stoppage time and secured the victory with an extra-time goal. It was his 13th goal in 14 matches of this season’s competition.

‎At just 17, Yamal cemented his reputation as one of the world’s top young talents following his breakout season, scoring nine league goals and adding five more in the Champions League.
